Eating together

Eating together

Studies have shown that by eating together with members of their family that children are more likely to have a healthy weight.  It’s also an opportunity for you to talk, perhaps about things they’ve enjoyed learning about at school, or plans for the coming weekend.  It might also be an opportunity to talk about something that didn’t go well for them during the day and talk about their feelings.  For further information see the Feelings section.
